It's Germany,
1936,
A charismatic leader,
is up to his tricks

Fine words from him
when in Paris or Rome,
Menacing speeches
At his rallies back home

Minorities are
the historical cause
of all of our nation's
imperfections and flaws

Our nation's weaknesses
failures, mistakes,
Must now be corrected
do whatever it takes

Let’s start with identity
Let’s set a high bar,
If they want to stay here
They must prove who they are

Butchers, bakers,
tailors, drapers
If you want to stay
Show us your papers

And if they can’t produce papers
over 3 generations,
Then let them leave
For other Welcoming nations

Don't buy from their stalls
all trade with them ceases,
Cancel all contracts,
agreements and leases

Trade only with those
With a swastika sign
They can't be trusted
our views don’t align

They're all sick and infectious
they travel in hordes,
Don't let them into
your hospital wards

Go for their writers
who use pens to attack
their journalists, editors
Give it right back

Attack academics
The folks with degrees,
Their poets, their thinkers,
Do as you please

So you can see, using rhetoric
to debase and demean,
All the while keeping own hands
spotless and clean

Accusing minorities
of every possible Ill,
Allowing their proxies
to act with free will

To attack and destroy
with total immunity
To slaughter and maim
with abject impunity

Lynchings and beatings
skin and bones broken,
Bodies on streets
bloodied and soaken

Torching all businesses,
and places of prayer
All of that under
The supportive glare

of the police standing by
trying best not to hinder
the mobs as they burn
all to a cinder

Every word is true
I speak from the heart,
except for one lie
which I told at the start

Yes it's time for me
to drop the mic,
This is no story
of the 3rd Reich

It pains me to say,
And please don’t ask how,
THE ABOVE IS INDIA
HERE AND NOW
